How to read the rating?
We rate surf conditions based on three key parameters: Crowds, Waves, and Wind—each scored on a 5-star scale. The more stars , the better the conditions.
🌊 Waves (Overall Quality)
5 stars = Perfect waves—ideal size, clean, glassy, and well-shaped.
1 star = Messy, choppy, or too small/too big to enjoy.
🌬 Wind (Impact on Surf)
5 stars = Light or perfectly offshore wind, keeping waves clean and well-formed.
1 star = Strong, onshore, or unfavorable winds making waves choppy and unpredictable.
🏄 Crowds (Surfer Density)
5 stars = An empty lineup—just you and the waves.
1 star = Packed with surfers, making it tough to catch a wave.
